Society of Our Lady of Constantinopoli
Maria SS. Di Costantinopoli Society of Modesto is a local, non-profit community service group. Our organization was founded sixty three years ago by a group of Italian-American immigrants from the city of Protettrice di Bitritto, Bari, Italy. Over the years, Maria SS. Di Costantinopoli Society has helped those who have been in need of assistance, and has given its support to a variety of charitable causes. Our Society’s support has been both local, such as our local Roman Catholic Church, and abroad. Our common vision is to see our organization thrive and continue its charitable endeavors and special causes that carry on through future generations.

The first Tuesday of March, we celebrate Mass and have a procession in honor of Our Lady. A dinner typically follows. We also celebrate Mass in late November followed by lunch. Our major fundraiser is a crab feed that occurs in December and the club also has a picnic in June for members and family.
